16 December 2017 – In Malaysia’s warm tropical climate, most of us can only dream of experiencing snow here. AEON wants to fulfil this dream by bringing snow to Malaysia with the Enchanting Snowfall Moment at AEON Mall Shah Alam. The event features real outdoor snowfall with a snow playground where customers can experience the magic of winter.

To add to the merriment and excitement, a giant Yukee is built in front of the Mall’s entrance to welcome customers. This adorable figure is set to be unique and offer one of a kind experience to the customers as his appearance will change throughout the year to match the four seasons; Winter, Spring, Summer & Autumn. AEON Mall Shah Alam will be transformed into a whimsical winter wonderland to create amusement to those visiting the mall.

The launch of Enchanting Snowfall Moment was officiated by Mr. Hiroyuki Kotera, the Executive Director of AEON CO. (M) BHD. in the presence of Mr. Tetsuya Kimura, Senior General Manager (Mall Business) of AEON CO. (M) BHD.

We invite you to come experience the beauty of snowfall together with your family and friends and we truly hope that the Enchanting Snowfall Moment at AEON Mall Shah Alam will bring a new experience to the customers,” explained Mr Hiroyuki Kotera.

Customers can experience an amazing snow-filled wonderland at AEON Mall Shah Alam from 3pm, 5pm and 8pm on 17 December 2017 (Sunday), 23, 24 and 25 December 2017 (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) and 30 and 31 December 2017 as well as 1 January 2018 (Saturday, Sunday and Monday).

To spread even more joyful cheer, little Yukees (a smaller version of giant Yukee) will be travelling to 12 selected AEON Malls throughout the year to bring this enchanting snowfall experience to all our customers around Malaysia. AEON will also organise a Creative Yukee Making contest to every mall that they travel to as one of the engagement activities with the local communities. These Do-It-Yourself (DIY) art pieces will then be displayed at AEON Mall Shah Alam where an estimation of 1,200 Yukee artwork will be selected – 100 pieces per mall.
