AEON WINS GOLD AWARD IN RETAIL CATEGORY OF THE PRESTIGIOUS PUTRA BRAND AWARDS 2021 – Chosen by Malaysian Consumers as the Nation’s Preferred Retail Brand

AEON CO. (M) BHD. or AEON adds another feather to its cap after being chosen by Malaysian consumers, bringing home a Gold Award in Retail Category at the Putra Brand Awards 2021.
This is the 10th year that AEON has been conferred with the recognition in the same category since its inception in 2010 attesting to AEON being the nation’s preferred retail brand. The presentation ceremony took place on 21 January 2022 at the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The Putra Brand Award, also known as the People’s Choice Award is highly regarded as it is chosen by the consumers. This year is the 12th edition of the awards ceremony which received over 11,000 responses from consumers across Malaysia who participated in a consumer preferences survey to determine their favourite brands.
A total of 167 awards were presented for 24 different product and services categories comprising 24 Platinum, 33 Gold, 50 Silver and 55 Bronze awards as well as five (5) special awards.
The Putra Brand Award is an initiative by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) in association with Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brands, supported by the Malaysian Advertisers Association, the Malaysian Digital Association, the Media Specialists Association and endorsed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).
