KUALA LUMPUR, 15 June 2024 – AEON is thrilled to announce the REAL BEAUTY Awards 2024, an event dedicated to recognising outstanding beauty, skincare, hair care, and wellness products. The REAL BEAUTY community, established in 2022, has grown into a vibrant and engaged group of beauty enthusiasts. This year marks the first time the awards are held, reinforcing AEON’s commitment to consumer-driven recognition.

The REAL BEAUTY community is grounded on 3 core pillars: “Influence to Pay It Forward” encourages and motivates customers to share their experiences with products, helping others make good choices and save money. “Represent and Shape the Market” shows how customer feedback can shape future products, making sure they meet different and diverse needs; and, “Support Small Businesses” that aims to spotlight new beauty brands and help them succeed through customer votes and engagement.

This year, over 1,000 AEON customers and 200 online reviewers participated this year, ensuring a diverse range of opinions. 55 local and international brands competed with 82 beauty and wellness products across 28 categories.

Low Ngai Yuen added, “In addition to honouring 28 winning brands, we are thrilled to recognise 20 lucky Real Beauty voters, 10 outstanding beauty reviewer videos, and present a special award for the ‘Most Supportive Customer’ – all about prioritising the voices of our customers.”

The overwhelming response has prompted AEON to extend the REAL BEAUTY campaign until December, maintaining its momentum with ongoing voting and annual awards.

The event also marked the debut of AEON’s latest in-house brand, Daisuki. Daisuki, meaning “love” in Japanese, embodies the essence of self-care and indulgence. The brand is dedicated to provide premium body care products that combine natural ingredients with innovative formulations to nourish and pamper the skin. Daisuki products are designed to deliver a luxurious and rejuvenating experience, catering to the needs of modern consumers seeking high-quality, effective, and environmentally conscious beauty solutions.

The REAL BEAUTY fair, taking place from June 10th to 16th at the North Court, MidValley Megamall, features live selling sessions, exclusive promotions, and limited edition REAL BEAUTY boxes* available for purchases of RM50 and above.
