AEON PARTICIPATES IN THE ‘KAD PRABAYAR PRIHATIN PENJAJA DAN PENIAGA MALAYSIA’ INITIATIVE AND IN2NIAGA APPLICATION

AEON CO. (M) BHD. and AEON BiG (M) SDN. BHD. or AEON expands the effectiveness of services in the retail industry by participating in the ‘Kad Prabayar Prihatin Penjaja dan Peniaga Malaysia’ initiative as well as the IN2NIAGA application for hawkers and small traders in Malaysia.
The initiative is a collaboration between Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC), Ministry of Federal Territories (KWP), Gabungan Persatuan Penjaja dan Peniaga Kecil Malaysia, In2Niaga Sdn. Bhd., AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad and Visa Malaysia.
The card combines the features of a cashless card and an AEON membership card to provide for safer, faster and smarter transactions. It also gives the opportunity for hawkers and small traders to make bulk purchases at AEON BiG that offers a wide range of options with great value.
Besides earning the points for every RM1 spends at AEON outlets, the cardholders will also be able to enjoy other benefits in the near future, such as accumulation of reward points when they shop outside of AEON chain, petrol stations and selected e-commerce platforms.
Cardholders have the flexibility to make payments for goods and services at more than 120,000 Visa merchants in Malaysia and more than 70 million Visa merchants located worldwide.
The IN2NIAGA application integrates various payment modes such as GrabPay, Boost, TnG e-Wallet, Maybank QR, ShopeePay, Lazada Wallet, credit card, debit card and also online banking (FPX).

The Launching Ceremony of Kad Prabayar Prihatin Penjaja dan Peniaga Malaysia and IN2NIAGA Application held at AEON Mall AU2, Setiawangsa on 27 November 2021 was officiated by Tan Sri Noh Omar, Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives and the text of the opening speech was delivered by Datuk Haji Zamri Salleh, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives.
Also present at the ceremony were Dato’ Parang Abai @ Thomas, Deputy Secretary General, Ministry of Federal Territories; Datuk Seri Haji Mahadi Che Ngah, Mayor of Kuala Lumpur; Ng Eng Kiat, Chairman of AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad; Daisuke Maeda, Managing Director, AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad; Shafie Shamsuddin, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of AEON; President of Gabungan Persatuan Penjaja dan Peniaga Kecil Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Haji Rosli Sulaiman and many more.
