New kid on the block, Majoriti, is making strides as it partners with AEON CO. (M) BHD. (AEON) in offering exciting content and exclusive offers for readers and consumers. Majoriti and AEON signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at AEON Mall Taman Maluri to mark the start of the new partnership.

As a new Bahasa Malaysia news portal focused on providing reports on current affairs, Majoriti is set to provide engaging narratives that spark conversations while bringing on added value to its consumers together with their strategic partners.

The MoU was signed by Shafie Shamsuddin, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of AEON and Alex Yeow, Chief Executive Office. It was witnessed by Low Ngai Yuen, Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer of AEON and Chung Eng Lee, Majoriti Product Lead. Also present was Tsutomu Motomura, Deputy Managing Director of AEON.

Chung said that AEON shared the similar intention of bringing added value to their loyal consumers.

“Majoriti is set on reaching the masses to bring them news that matter. More than that, we hope that they will find offerings that cater to their lifestyles through the Majoriti platform.”

“AEON is a great partner who puts their consumers at the forefront and it is incredibly meaningful to have them come on board the first leg of our journey. Aside from a special subscription rate of only RM10 a year, AEON members will also enjoy exclusive deals that are only available through the Majoriti platform. We look forward to working together in exploring more ways to reward our consumers,” she said.

Meanwhile, according to Yuen, “We hear our customers and we want to be able to fulfil their needs so extending Majoriti to them is definitely our way of expanding what we can do for our members.”

“As a partner, Majoriti excites us with its news direction and content that allows us to leverage on our ecosystem. Not only are we offering a subsidised subscription deal of Majoriti to AEON members to access exclusive news at the end of their fingertips, we are also working on many early-bird promotions, over and above our customers’ shopping and grocery needs,” she added.

With the tagline of Refleksi Tanpa Prejudis, Majoriti’s manifesto revolves around providing unbiased news and views to the members of the public. Majoriti is embarking on teaming up with a diversity of partners to expand on each others’ offerings.
