AEON EXCELS IN THE GLOBAL BUSINESS LEADERSHIP AWARDS AND GLOBAL HALAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2022
Kuala Lumpur, 26 July 2022 – AEON CO. (M) BHD. (AEON) bags another prestigious recognition to its brand after being awarded Excellence in Halal Certified Food Outlets by Global Halal Excellence Awards (GHEA) and Excellence in Preferred Retail Store by Global Business Leadership Awards (GBLA) at the awards presentation ceremony held on 21 July 2022 at the Royale Chulan, Kuala Lumpur.
Organised by Asia Pacific Business Council, the GHEA and GBLA recognised individuals and organisations who excel in business and corporate sustainability leadership and adhere to the halal business principals as well as and contributed to the growth of the global halal economy.
The awards were presented by Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof, Chairman of Boustead Holdings Bhd who is also formerly Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department to Keiji Ono, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of AEON.
According to Keiji Ono, “We are grateful with this recognition and will continue to provide best services for customers’ convenience and pleasant experience. Earlier this month, AEON has been recognised with the CEO of the Year and the Sustainability Initiative of the Year-Malaysia at the 17th Retail Asia Awards 2022. The Retail Asia Awards is an initiative to gather the region’s best retail companies and honour their outstanding retail projects with a prestigious accolade.
AEON also won the Gold Award in Retail Category at the Putra Brand Awards 2021 last January. The Putra Brand Award, also known as the People’s Choice Award is highly regarded as it is chosen by the consumers.
