AEON BRINGS A TASTE OF TAIWAN TO MALAYSIA
Bandar Utama, 28 November 2015
In a joint effort to promote Taiwanese food offerings, AEON Co. (M) Bhd, along with the Malaysia Chinese Traders Association and Taiwan Investor’s Association in Malaysia, brings back the AEON Taiwan Food Fair for the second consecutive year.
“Taiwan is a food paradise and we want to bring a taste of what it has to offer to Malaysia. We provide our customers with an opportunity to sample its gastronomical offerings and to experience the nation’s food culture without having to pay for a flight ticket to Taiwan,” explained Ms Qamarina Chew, Managing Director of AEON Co. (M) Bhd, during the launch of the AEON Taiwan Food Fair.
Popular Taiwanese TV personality, Sam Tseng, was also present at the launch, where he hosted a food sampling session and spoke about food from home.
As an upgrade of last year’s fair, the 2015 edition sees the participation of 20 additional brands with the inclusion of newly imported products that are currently only available for sale at AEON. Examples of these items are Zheng handmade noodles, Yun Zhi Jia vegetable, Fu Kang preserve fruits, Jin Jin classic ramen snack, Jiang Ji bean curb and fruits crisps, as well as Veggie’s Legend vegetarian paste.
The fair runs from November 23 onwards and features a wide variety of products across 100 brands. Some of the categories of items that are on offer include beverages, desserts, canned goods, snacks, sauces, organic food, health products as well as gift packs.
To sweeten the deal, a free Jute bag will also be given to customers with a minimum purchase of RM300 (inclusive of GST) on Taiwan Food Fair items in a single receipt at the supermarket of selected AEON store.
Food enthusiasts who are keen to visit the fair can do so at 15 stores across Malaysia until December 9. The full list of participating AEON outlets is as per mentioned:
