AEON CO. (M) BHD. crowned the winners of the AEON “Mom, guess what I’m doing” contest in a glitzy prize-giving ceremony at AEON Alpha Angle Shopping Centre here today. Guests at the ceremony were entertained by a variety of pulsating dance performances while they anticipated the announcement of the grand prize winners.

Janson Lee Zen Tung (9 month) and Janessa Ng Xiao En (18 Month) each walked away with AEON Gift Vouchers worth RM9,000, an Anakku hamper worth RM1,800 and Fisher Price merchandise worth about RM849.90 as the grand prize winner of the below 12 months and AEON Gift Vouchers worth RM9,000, Baby Kiko Hamper worth RM1,800, Fisher Price BG Evolve High Chair worth RM499.90 and Playskool Step Start Walk ‘n” Ride Refresh worth RM 149.90 as the grand prize winner of the above 12 months.

The search was started since 17th February 2014 until 2nd March 2014. More than 1000 participations all over the country have received from the parents by submit their babies’ and toddlers’ photos for the “Mom, guest what I’m doing” contest. To participate on this contest, customers had to spend a minimum of RM30 from the AEON Baby’s Department and submit one 4R size photograph of their child.

The prizes were presented to the winners by General Manager of Merchandising Division of AEON CO. (M) BHD., Ms. Audrey Lim. “We would like to thank all AEON Members for their enthusiastic participation in this contest, and it would not have been such a success without them”, said Audrey Lim. “The celebration was to show our gratitude to our loyal customers and supporters. This is our way of saying thank you” added Audrey Lim. The contest was jointly organised with Sweet Cherry, Baby Kiko, Anakku, Pigeon, Pureen, Philips Avent, Fisher-Price and Playskool.

“We were so excited that our babies won this contest. This certainly made our day! Thank you AEON!” said Ms. Tan Chin Woon & Ms. Ang Yen Ying, mothers of Janson Lee Zen Tung & Janessa Ng Xiao En.

When the contest period ended in March 2014, the judges narrowed down and selected 66 finalists from both categories. The finalists photographs thereafter been posted up for voting by the AEON Members at the designated area at all AEON malls from 24th April 2014 to 5th May 2014.

The candidates were separated into two categories – Category 1 for babies below 12 months and Category 2 for toddlers aged 12 months and 1 day to 24 months. The judging was based on the creative caption baby photos voted by AEON Members.
