Kuala Lumpur, 2 September 2024 – AEON is delighted to announce the successful reopening of AEON Bandar Puchong, which took place on 30 August 2024.

The AEON Bandar Puchong store has undergone significant upgrades, now offering a revitalised shopping experience that blends modern design with enhanced facilities and amenities. These improvements are part of AEON’s ongoing commitment to ensure that all its malls and stores meet the evolving needs and expectations of today’s customers. The upgrades, which cost approximately RM37 million, were fully completed in about six months.

The reopening event was officiated by Naoya Okada, Managing Director of AEON, alongside the AEON Senior Management team and the IOI Properties Group Berhad management team. The event was also graced by YB Ng Sze Han, EXCO of Investment, Trade, and Mobility of Selangor, who joined to mark this significant occasion

In celebration of the reopening, AEON Bandar Puchong hosted a series of exciting promotions and activities. The first 200 customers received a RM50 coupon, and the first 500 AEON Member Plus cardholders were able to redeem an exclusive Tupperware Domino server. New sign-ups for AEON membership were rewarded with a 2-in-1 cooler bag, while the first 100 members who renewed their membership received a free non-woven bag. Additionally, special deals and giveaways were offered in celebration of National Day, which took place the day after the reopening.

Since its inception in 2000, AEON Bandar Puchong has been an integral part of the community, serving customers especially in the Puchong and Kinrara areas. With the support of its customers and partners, this store has thrived alongside IOI Mall Puchong and is excited to continue this legacy with its newly upgraded facilities.

Naoya Okada remarked, “AEON is committed to expanding its presence within communities across Malaysia through new store openings and rejuvenation projects. Last year, we successfully revitalised AEON Melaka Shopping Centre and AEON Mall Cheras Selatan. Earlier this year, we successfully opened our 35th store in Setia Alam. Upgrades are also underway at AEON Bukit Indah, AEON Tebrau City, and AEON Ipoh Station 18.”
