AEON LAUNCHES HUMANITARIAN AID TO VICTIMS OF FLOODS

Malaysian AEON Foundation (MAF), an entity that runs all major charity events and community services under AEON donated RM100,000 worth of food and non-food items including medicine, groceries, blankets and toiletries to help people affected by flooding at the East Coast.
More than 30 volunteered staff from AEON CO. (M) Bhd., AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd., AEON Delight (M) Sdn. Bhd. and AEON BIG (M) Sdn. Bhd. have been working tirelessly with Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) on packing the relief items at the TUDM Air Force Military Base in Subang.
In addition, MAF has also started a two-week donation campaign calling on customers to come forward and lend a helping hand by sending in generous contributions into donation boxes at all AEON Malls, AEON Credit Service Centres and AEON Big stores. Donors can also to log on to MAF online donation system at https://edonation.aeonretail.com.my to help alleviate the sufferings of the victims.
“This effort is intended to help east the burden of the communities affected by the recent floods. We encourage our customers to come forward by providing them with assistance and protection they so badly need,” said Nur Qamarina Chew, Vice President of MAF and Managing Director of AEON CO. (M) BHD, who’s on-site to help out TUDM manning the relief items.
