500 FAMILIES RECEIVED AID IN THE FACE OF FLOOD SITUATIONS
An initiative by Malaysian AEON Foundation for the affected flood victims.

At least 500 families affected by the flood situations received aid as part of Malaysian AEON Foundation’s flood relief efforts aligned with their mission in giving necessary help and assistance to those in need regardless the gender, race and creed.
The Foundation visited 5 centres in Pulau Pinang; Kampung Dodol, Georgetown, Dewan Serbaguna Pejabat Daerah & Tanah Seberang Perai Tengah (SPT), Dewan Banjur Guar Jering and Dewan Muhibah Merbau Kudong which sheltered the 500 families temporarily while waiting for the flood to subside. Items such as dry food, mineral water, pampers and toiletries were donated to the affected victims.
“It has always been the aim of Malaysian AEON Foundation to always be prepared and provide assistance to those in need. Our Flood Relief Effort had been one of our yearly initiative and this time around the Foundation had also established our own Donation Drive to assist those affected by the flood” said MAF President, YBhg Dato’ Abdullah Mohd Yusof.
The Donation Drive is currently running through all AEON Group Company outlets and branches until 30 November 2017. AEON customers can place their donations to the coin boxes located at AEON CO. (M) BHD., AEON BIG SDN. BHD. and AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad or they can also donate through the Foundation’s official website, www.aeonfoundation.my.
